About Us
Our Mission
To make Miami Beach's streets safer, more equitable, and more human — for everyone who walks, rolls, bikes, and lives here.
We are residents, cyclists, parents, and pedestrians who believe cities are built for people, not just cars. We show up at commission meetings, knock on doors, write the emails, and build the coalitions that turn frustration into policy. Every protected lane, every slowed street, every safer crossing is a win we fight for together.
How We Work
Community First
We listen before we act. Every campaign starts with the residents most affected — their experience shapes our strategy, not the other way around.
Evidence-Driven
We show up to meetings with data, not just passion. We track crash records, cite the master plan, and make the case with numbers that commissioners can't ignore.
Persistent
Change is slow. We stay in the room, return to every meeting, and keep the pressure on until the project gets built — or until we've exhausted every option.

Our Story
Seven Years of Fighting for Better Streets
Founded by a group of Miami Beach residents following a fatal collision on Alton Road — with a commitment to systemic change, not just awareness.
First policy win: speed feedback signs on West Avenue after a six-month campaign and 300+ resident signatures.
Coalition partners with city planners to support adoption of the updated Bicycle-Pedestrian Master Plan — North Meridian Ave designated Priority 1.
Jefferson Ave Slow Streets proposal enters city planning process. Community walkthrough draws 80+ residents.
La Gorce Drive protected bike lane opens — the first fully protected lane in North Beach. Ribbon cutting draws 120 riders.
500+ petition signatures submitted to city commission for North Meridian Ave path funding. Coalition expands to 12 partner organizations.
Jefferson Ave Slow Streets breaks ground. Construction of curb extensions and protected bike lane begins.
North Meridian Ave path faces quiet cancellation via consent agenda. Our biggest mobilization yet — the fight continues.
